Fantastic to finally get your Exsolve, Caldera and Cartographer CD's to play on my really nice home audio system. Super powerful stuff. There is magic in your musical compositions. Though she uses traditional instruments like hurdy gurdy & folk traditional tunes, this is not archaeology but recovery. And the lyrics are very modern in their surrealist defiance and disobedience. As impeccably curated as one would expect from Chaos Theory. Great album for pushing outside your comfort zone, everything on here feels interesting, new and bold. Found I liked (almost) all of it, and some new potential favourites to hunt down (Aphexia, Prisa Mata, Drekka, Five the Hierophant...) I already knew I loved Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard and Vodun... Roll on 12 years of Chaos.
